Blog Design, How Important Is It?

Blog Design, How Important Is It?

When you first start your blog you have probably used a free template / theme. Thank goodness you picked one that looked half way decent, but its time to step up to the plate and get a custom design that no other blog has. I can tell you from personal experience that my blog grew 3-4 times in size once I paid around $200.00 for my custom design to be built.

A design says a thousand words that you cant say to your visitors who first visit your site, the reading / content your offering to your visitors is useless if they don’t stick around to read it. I cannot emphasize enough how important your blog design will be. It will either make or break your blog. I suggest if you do not currently have a custom built theme on your blog then you need to fork out the cash and do it! You will see a gain in visitor views / unique visitors.

This will result because of the new design; your current loyal readers will tell their friends about the new design which will then start a chain reaction. On my blog I have talked about the top methods for getting the word about a new product, service or website/blog out to the net is by word of mouth.

Word of mouth is your most powerful marketing tool; learning to use it wisely is what will send you to the top of success!

I am sure you can now see the importance of your blog design and I hope you realize that it’s imperative you get this taken care of ASAP! This raises an interesting question, who should I have design my blog theme?

I chose a designer I liked for various reasons, some of which I have listed below.

• Kind Person To Talk To
• Deep Professional Portfolio
• Incredible Testimonials

From those 3 factors I am sure you can see why my design cost me over 200.00 to have designed. But it’s the price you pay for top quality design services.

I hope you have enjoyed this small but helpful nugget of wisdom. Show your appreciation by telling us so below in a comment!

Don’t List Your SEO Results In Your Portfolio

Did you ever wonder why some of the big wig seo’s never list there SEO results in there portfolios? We have received such questions in the past and I am sure we will receive more in the future. In the post your about to read I am going to explain quite simply why they refuse to list there results publicly!

WARNNING: The answer may come as a shock to you!

The reason I’m creating this post is to help you keep your clients from getting banned in the search engines. Yes that’s right BANNED!

By listing your customers results in a public fashion for the search engines to read they can easily spot link buyers and sellers of which they are trying to eliminate. Google has a spider bot that now thinks and reads like a human being. If it sees you listing SEO results they will instantly assume that you have purchased links for your customers. While this might not be the worst thing for the SEO companies in general, it will effect there past customers who are listed as google will spot this and remove them from there search index!

Adsense basics!

Adsense basics!

The key to your adsense success is just around the corner, this article will help you get your adsense up and running and show you how to convert visitors to clicks and make money!

Right below this paragraph of text you will see three to four links of which you can visit to learn how to set up your adsense account and get the adsense adds on to your website.

If you’re having any trouble you can contact us on our contact us page to find out information from a professional on how its done.

Once your adsense set up on your site its time to learn how to convert those visitors into clicks, the major point behind adsense is of course making money. But to do that your site needs to reflect what you’re trying to do, you don’t want to hide the ads or trick people into clicking on them. Google is very strict about this and if you’re caught doing it you will get banned from using adsense.

Adsense is not overly difficult to figure out, as long as the ads are placed on your website in a fashionable way you will have no problem getting people to click! In fact you can even specify adsense to only show image ads that way you maximize your clicks and click values.

I have done this on our webmaster form and it has proved to work very well for us. Thus far we have made a couple bucks worth of clicks and we are happy, our site now pays for itself hosting wise. Now any profits made off the site with banner ad sales is simple profit for us and our members.

So enough jibber jabber it’s time to learn how you can earn with your website to, the first thing you need to worry about is the niche your website is representing. For instance clicks in the gasoline industry are going to have more click value than those of the hotdog guy. Simply because gasoline companies have more money then hot dog sellers. They can afford to pay more per click! Lucky Us!

How To Avoid Link Sellers Penalty!

January 22nd, 2008

One way to avoid the link sellers penalty !

Since Google has initiated a link sellers penalty things have been hectic for link sellers of all kinds. Link sellers used to make a killing off selling a page rank link to other websites to help them get higher page ranking which in turn allowed them to sell links and make money as well.

Google spotted this problem as people were cheating the search results by allowing their sites to be spammed with links and the website owners that purchased links to gain page rank. Google went directly to the heart of the problem and they are trying to eliminate link sellers by issuing the link seller penalty to anyone caught selling links for Page Rank. You can still buy and sell links for traffic and draw attention to your website, but if sold for page rank in mind you will receive a penalty in no time. Google determines if your website is selling for page rank or not.

So the question remains how can you avoid the link sellers penalty if you still want to sell page ranked links? The simple fact of not listing the URL publicly in user forums like DigitalPoint and V7N and only disclosing it to those that are interested in buying the links through a private message on the user forums is the best way. Think about it, if Google can’t see it how can it be penalized? By doing this we have retained page ranks of 5 and 6 on our websites that were built for selling links.

We do not endorse selling or buying page rank links. We have instead focused on what’s important, selling for traffic and helping your business grow into what could be. By doing this to you will maximize your sales and business growth before you know it! If you’re only business is selling for page rank links then perhaps should focus on learning how to gain traffic to your website’s and then sell advertisements such as banners and blog posts reviews on your highly trafficked sites to those who need traffic in your same niche. This safe and best way to sell advertisements and make a great profit at the same time.
