Is PR still important?

I dont know with others but PR is very important to me . I feel bad if I dont gain any PR coz your blogs and site needs to be known in search engine in order to reach out more people and it is really fulfilling to find pagerank in your site

Yes Page Rank is still important factor for the optimization of the websites over the search engines.

yeh its pretty important, especially if you want to sell the domain name or sell some links on the site. people pay good money if you have a good PR

For me, PR is important. But Traffic and SERPs ranking are more important than PR alone.

PR alone gives authority to a certain site. It gives a value to your site. The larger the value, the higher its value to SEs. The crawl time is more frequent as well.

Page rank is important but securing good position in SERP's is more important as at the end of the day you need leads and conversions. Page rank,which is determined through a site's content, quality backlinks and several other factors, is important for estimating the quality of a site. But if you want your site to be viewed by more people and , it has to appear in the top of SERP's.
